Panthers and Trojans to Square Off in Inaugural Event

Two long-standing rivals from the Northland will play their annual basketball game tonight at Hy-Vee Arena in downtown Kansas City. Park Hill South and Park Hill be playing in the first official game ever held at the arena.

The inaugural event will feature both the varsity boys and girls as well as the junior varsity teams from each school.

“We are thrilled that our first official game at Hy-Vee Arena is a matchup between two of the biggest rivals in the Kansas City metro area,” Foutch Brothers CEO Steve Foutch said. “The passion both fan bases have for their schools is incredible and it’s going to be an amazing atmosphere for the student- athletes, students, coaches, and fans.”

What You Need to Know Parking is available on the east side of the arena. Park Hill South student and conference passes will be accepted. General admission cost is $5 (5 & under free). No access to “Open Play” areas unless a wristband is purchased. Varsity games will be broadcast on ucklicktv.com. Available on demand after the event.

There will be no access to the arena floor unless authorized by the Park Hill South Athletic Department.
