For the second year in a row, the Liberty Blue Jays will take on the Staley Falcons for a spot in the Class 4 Quarterfinals. Both teams are very familiar with each other as both campuses are eight miles apart. Last season when these two teams met, it was the Falcons that prevailed with a 2–1 win.
So far this season, both teams have won on the road in this highly anticipated matchup as tomorrow night’s 5:00pm first pitch is from the North Kansas City District Activities Complex on the campus of Staley High School.
The winner will move on to face the winner of Blue Springs South and Truman on Saturday.
We get you ready for this matchup as UClick TV’s Jason Ketz caught up with both head coaches earlier today, Scott Howard of Liberty and Jeff Cain of Staley.
